This rule definately seems to be a pain in the #$%^&, but it is understandable as to why it would be put into place. We live in an age where instant gratification is an expectation, and patience is hardly ever practiced.
With that said.... despite the fact that it is Day#1 for me, I'm itching to check out this section!!!

i guess its fair enough to ask that ppl dont come straight in and ask for invites.... but it does kinda suk having to wait a month reguardless... i think if you've got as good ratio/record on other filesharing sites the one month thingy should be wavered...

How would one know that you had such a record.
In any case is it really such a big deal. Five posts and have to wait a month. Maybe even get to know some of the people here during that time. There is more to this place than sharing torrent invites. Trust me it's worth taking a look about. Particularly if you are interested in computers and file sharing.

You don't need to talk about anything, it's cool. If you want to join, wait a month and make five posts that's up to you.
If you want to help oher people, perhaps with advice on software, hardware, games or whatever that's fine too. You may be able to get some help on stuff yourself, or other people's opinions on things you are interested in.
Can I suggest that if you want to discuss your Aunt then the lounge is probably your best bet.
The point is it's a whole file sharing community thing and it's possible that you might want to join in with that. If not, that's cool too.
oh man 1 month is too long.. anyways im willing to wait like i do with my torrents.. by the way nice picture skizo [how do u kill that which has no life?] LOL
