there's like 8 realms human spirits can end up. 3 higher ones(focused teaching and higher lessons) and 5 lower ones(focused on learning and basic lessons). the higher ones are called summerland. i think most in the present day will end up in the 5 lower ones, they are like the catholic idea of purgatory. within those 5 there is one lowest, where it is very dark and eternally burning(not fire, burning of the hatred, bad emotions). the other four go up from there. Within the top 3 there are two for people who had vices and faults but were mostly beneficial to mankind. the very top is for immaculate souls.
