So... if we are sharing a certain amount of mp3s, we're sued? What if we're not sharing? And, what if we're just downloading movie files?
Your a SAFE LEECH, now go clean the bathroom before your mom yells at you.

Um.... ookkk. Let me get this straight, I've heard if you are sharing a certain amount of mp3s, then, you're sued. How can they do that? And, what is this program you speak of that blocks their IP's?

While i understand where you're coming from but kazaa should be solely for porn or popular movies. If autosearchmore is ran long enough you can get rare stuff but as far as being arsed with hashes that's a total waste imo. IRC or emule should be used for new movies, games and warez. I'm mostly using soulseek for music since i can get a whole album at once and irc and occaisionly emule. I wont abandon kazaa I just recognize its limitations(virus infected software and no sources for new film hashes) and use other options.

Don't you DARE wag your finger at the leeches if you're deserting the ship. They're simply newbies who don't understand the nuances of the game.

You, you should know better.

You can't have it both ways.

They already know exactly who you are, but it will take them a little time to get round to you.

Your trial date is set for 17 July 2376.

Hey I've been doing this P2P, napster, warez FTP, adventures in software for at least 5 or 6 years now and I didn't know anything about the recording, or movie industry having any kind of search and destroy software, well I knew they had something they wanted to pull out of their ass and use against us cyber warriors, (fools be Phuking with the part of their consumer base with the highest intelligence and overall income) but I didn't think they wanted to get sued to death for invading my Ace in the hole right to privacy that this wonderful country guarantees it's sheep. Hey I just found this out today and this Peer Guardian is already installed and running. Just one more added speed bump to what use to be a WWW of pure knowledge, creativity, freedom. I use to be able to drive my truck down onto the beach build a 35 ft. high fire, have 2 kegs of beer and 400 watts of
Van Halen cranked, 20 years ago, now I'd spend 30 to 60 days in jail, it only gets worse not better, but what the hell can you do?
So if the Hollywood Homo's want to try and play games with me I say bring it on! They lost this battle the day the government allowed the internet to be connect to new servers outside the original 4 university mainframes. They had no Idea those 4 mainframes would turn into the monster that it is in little more than about 3 to 5 years. Once it crossed international borders before any laws or regulations could be put in place it was too late! it's like your parents telling you at the age of 17 they don't want you to try smoking or drinking or have sex until your 18, IT'S A LITTLE TOO LATE NOW POP'S!
They can try as they might but with what, 3 maybe 4 million people online at any given time around the world it's too late they will never be able to control that many people at any given time or stay one step ahead of them. Kazaa maybe gone tomorrow, but there will be something else better and faster to replace it in a month! And I'm sure even as I write this post, someone has almost finished writing a program to defeat and attack what ever they try to do to us next!
