@ the members who might doubt my actions in "The Proletariat Incident":

I'll describe what happened on my side, maybe that will clarify my actions better

:

I came home yesterday morning 5 AM from going out (no booze or drugs btw, it was with my family-in-law

), took a quick peek at the forum and saw this PM in my inbox from a very disturbed Proletariat, telling me it was never her intention for other people to see her more "racey" pictures.
I viewed the topic from where she had posted her pics until the end of it, and noticed there as well she was very upset with the fact that the URL of her site was posted.
Looking at her site, I was doubting her motivation/behaviour/actions, but since she seemed so upset I gave her the benifit of the doubt, and removed the links, keeping in mind that she said in her PM she was a n00b and didn't realize what the consequenses of her actions were.

On one hand I absolutely don't see any problem with what Got_Memory did, but at the other hand I was thinking of a situation in which a member would put up a website to host his/her own pictures, and being so n00bish he/she didn't realize the other pics would be easily accesable as well.
I merely acted to protect a (for me unknown) member against him/herself, afterwards, and more important: I did it in the best interest of the board.

Usually, when something "goes wrong" on the board, things happen slow enough to give the Mod team time to discuss it, and then take action; this one was a do or don't situation, and I decided to do, rather than ignoring it.

@ Schmiggy: I was kind of disapointed you pulled the "first amendement" card, but I made a mistake as well to quote Board Rule #11.
