I am looking to have a main computer (windows xp) and want to stream videos from that machine to other machines. Even if it requires a program on the main computer and client computers anybody know any software that does this?

What I think you want to do, is view media files across a home network.

For that, you just need to share a directory on your XP machine, and connect to it from the other machines on the network.

You can then use any media player you like on the "client" machines to view the videos files.
