ok peeps thanks for the help, yes i do have a hard copy of the manual but like i said the drivers on the disc appear to be outdated for windows xp!
ive tried the jetway site , no luck there ive also tried windows updates and support pages;nothing there either!
am gonna go check via website see if i can strike gold..........

aparently the via site says that due to liscensing agreements the drivers for windows xp cant be made aavailable, please contact motherboard manufacturer or WINDOWS??!?!?!?
jesus microsoft arent making me contact em are they with my burnt copy!!!

I believe you need the WIndows Xp server pack 1 to able to use teh USB 2.0. SInce you have a copy version well then u got to find another way..

Search Keygen for Windows XP-->software
Don't use Cafo's!
Find the one that discovers a valid key for you (it takes about 40 tries), it is an interesting little thing...look for many users holding, or if you keep running into trouble PM me and I will make a valid key for ya buddy.

well thanks for all ue help guys i do have a copied version of xp but i have downloaded sevice pack 1 and some updates but still no joy??
whats that abouta keygen aqdam? i think i have what ur talking about??
any other help would be appreciated coz im flumoxed, i emailed jetway and they said to download sevice pack 1??? but i already got it, plus is there a way to remove all my updates from appearing in my add/remove programs list??

Does your USB2 device show up in the 'Device Manager'? Is there a yellow icon there or something? Please tell what you see.
Is the USB2 controller enabled in the BIOS?
I have heard that some motherboards "share" the PCI slots with the USB2 chip. When the USB2 is enabled you need to avoid using the shared slot. (usually PCI slot 1).
