    FTP works following Buggyme's guide perfectly until I changed root password. Now blah! Probably some simple fix.

    I know at least 2 others with same problem. We would all appreciate any help on this.

    not meaning to ask what you might think is a stupid question, but did you try the original password?

    go into leewares control panel http://vps3**.leeware.com:10000 and reset it. Asuming that you can log into the control panel.

    I'll try that later. I fiddled around and saw the option to reboot but I didn't want to reboot the server now. Thought maybe you could reboot the FTP server, maybe you can.

    Hmm, I changed the password on mine and haven't had any problems. As for rebooting, it isn't really and FTP server per se, but an FTP connection through SSH, so you'll have to restart the entire VPS.

    Well let's see. 10 mins after initiating reboot. If it EVER comes back up, I will see if FTP works. This is exact reason I didn't want to reboot the entire server.

    FTP works now lol
