As everyone knows that when a word document gets to big , it really becomes unusable. Anything from 20mb upwards causes enormous problems.

Now my problem: i am doing a project atm and am getting ready to get it printed , also i need to make 1 word document out of it so that it can get printed and for the layout ie. page numbers etc

As of now i have several word documents , 1 for each chapter, it makes the handling a lot better.

I have thought of converting it to a pdf now:

1.) whats the best software for this?
2.)and is it possible that once i have converted the word to pdf that i still can change the pdf?
3.) can i add chapters to that pdf or is it 1 conversation only?
4.) is it possible to make 1 pdf out of several pdfs?

Probably the full whistles n' bells Adobe Acrobat is what you need. It costs tho'.

I've never found a free tool that really does the job, tbh.

When I make pdfs, I do it through open office.

AFAIK that necessitates merging the docs first, tho', and I dunno if adjusting the pdf after works well either.

    1. either one above
    2. you can still write with Acrobat, but it's handier to write in word and then convert again
    3. see 2.

I used acrobat 8 for a while, but it was just too bulky. Itraded it it for foxit, but now I just use the office save-as-pdf ad-on.
