Thread: Win 98 File System Properties

    In Win 98 se, you can change the "typical role of this computer" in the file system properties. Apparantly, if you change this to "Network Server", it allocates more memory where it's needed.
    My questions are:
    A: can you do this with XP Pro?
    B: Does it actually have any effect on the overall speed of your computer?
