So I recently purchased A Creative Inspire 7800 7.1 Surround speaker system for my computer to which I have an SB Audigy 2. I have hooked everything up fine, but for some reason, only the front left and front right speakers make noise. I have the switch on my woofer set to 6.1 => 7.1. Everything is hooked up correctly, why cant I hear any other noise from the other speakers? I'd also like to add the rear channels wont work either and the the woofer works fine, only the woofer and front left/front right speakers work!! I have the green, black, and orange plugs in the right spots on both the woofer and the sound card. Its like my sound card is ignoring the 2nd and 3rd channels!

Go to Control Panel > Sound and Audio devices > Volume tab > Speaker settings > Advanced > Speaker setup.

    Have you adjusted that yet?

For my 5.1 speakers, there are several analog plugs, or 1 spdif. Which do you use?
