Thread: Anyone have an Icelandic Istorrent (www.torrent.is) invite

    I have no idea how much such an invite might be worth.

    I've been to Icelandic forums as far as I could tell not knowing Icelandic that people were giving away invites fairly easily and that new users get 2 free invites, so I'm guessing its a level 2, but I really don't know.

    If its hard to get, I'm not interested, as I'm mostly looking to find icelandic music especially hip hop/rap and Tv shows in English such as Silvia Night and I don't want it bad enough to make a big trade.

    If its fairly easy to get invites, I will list what I have to trade for it.

    You can go to the registration page, but you cannot get an account without an invite code.

    Do they have an actual rule against non-Icelandic people joining, or is it just that it is all-Icelandic content?

    It seems like it would be hard for them to know you weren't from Iceland if you were downloading Icelandic content.

    Yes, its a rule and they have a ip-filter or something. The reason this is done is that in iceland you have to pay more for you connection to get free foreign download (free download from other countries), And not everyone has it.
