How Do I Make Program?

I want to learn how to make stuff. I have lots of free time and I want to start off with something simple. I read somewhere that you can make stuff with visual basic and its good for begginers.

Sorry but I don't know shit about this. I don't expect you to give me details on how to program I just need some websties that can help me with this or really general suggestion like "visual absic sucks" or "this is better for begginers"

Go to a bookstore and buy some VB books....or you could try talking to some people in bookworld about VB books and programming books

Check out the Development section at the forums...someone (like me) would be more than willing to help.
Or check out Planet Source Code and download some of the code available there and learn from it.

Or you could save money and get them at the library (or download them off KL).
