Not really, "they" have all been a pain in the ass long enough. Give them self rule starting with Wales followed by Cornwall.
Regarding the "Scottish" problem.. I think more funds should be reserved for extra fortifications of the already existing.. Hadrian's Wall. There will be no more eloping to Gretna Green.. All Scots have small di*ks, that's a known fact. So even though absence makes the heart grow fonder, this really is the border ladies.
...Except of course for "The Scottish Borders" which does confuse the issue somewhat, as it's not actually the border or even a border.
