I just used M2 Edit pro. it KICKS ASS!!
I cut a movie together it's seamless and I mean perfect.
And it converts (VCD & SVCD) like a mo' fo'.
TMPEng is for the weak M2 EDIT RULES.

does it take the original avi as its audio source without any sync problems?
i was wondering if there was anything better than TMPGEnc, it works most of the time for me, but i always have to use virtualdub externally to extract the audio and then encode.
just looking for an easier way to do it.
link for a download?

Funny you should ask the Web Site that recommended said this is one of the advantages it has over TMPEng.
Check out the Guide http://www.dvdrhelp.com/m1edit.htm
