Thread: Windows Vista and also WMP11 spying?

  1. #1
hi, i hope someone is able to clear this up, im pretty sure its not true but i have seen the odd post dotted around the net suggesting that vista tracks everything you download off the net and then reports this back, is that true? i can't see that it can be?

and also i was reading the peer guardian forum and someone on there posts about wmp11 spying as it connects to napsters ip addresses when you play music.

is wmp11 doing this, is it safe to play music through this?

hope someone can help, need a little re-assurance.

    thanks everyone

oh right so wmp11 is ok to use for all mp3 or videos? is there any reason why it connects to napster?

yeah i think that the vista spying thing is a bit far fetched, and im pretty sure if that was the case it would be every where on the net by now. its just something i read on 1 web forum. so i take it that its rubbish?
