it probably makes the sysops mad when you come in telling them you wanna be an uploader, which is how you got early access to the site, and then didn't upload crap.

if you have a good upload speed or seedbox, you probably could have said that and still got in not as an uploader.

You're making some assumptions there. The same thing happened to me even though I was invited because a friend was a staff member and was a VIP before I ever applied to be an uploader. I had my thesis and final exams the week they opened and lost my access to 0-sec stuff to upload, but they disabled me anyway rather than demoting me back to VIP or waiting a bit for me to have time. It's not my fault that they opened weeks after they initially had said they would. Their staff and policies are not very user-friendly. One of their SysOps actually only accepts PM's from those on his friends list, which isn't at all like the RTS Sysops, who are very friendly and helpful.
You can see where my vote goes. Sure, it's easier to get a good ratio at SCN--everything's 4x upload and free leech They're giving it away there, might as well be a news server.

I will say, I like SCN's "family" concept, although I find the forums on RTS more active, even when they only had ~100 users.

One thing that bugs me about RST is that they keep changing the invite policies.

What was wrong with those high upload demands or ask the staff if you think someone can contribute. Now it seems to me like it's extremely easy to get in.

My vote still goes to SCN where I feel more at home. And I like that it's just movies and TV unlike some others. It makes the site into something special and not just another 0-day site.

yeah don't assume shit

i was already a regular member before a long time, i got a seedbox and tried out to see if i could upload some stuff

then this sysop asshole comes out of nowhere and bans me after i tell him i can't upload 10 torrents a week

the idea here is that i could have just been demoted back to regular user

but anyway, no sense in crying over spilled milk

i hope scn goes to the gutter

and the SCN whole balck and green design for browse torrents really sucks !

RTS has good friendly staffs too..
