Because they're the one's sending traffic to/back from your house, and easily have the tools to find out to where it's being directed?

Especially with the cops on their side after they find out that someone's been stealing their service that others pay 50-100$ a month for.

Personally this is far, far, more risky than torrenting files and if you are caught you could be trapped in some deep shit, and perhaps even more when they find out you've been torrenting on a stolen line. I really wouldn't find this to be something to brag about.

I remember this one time, some dumb motherfucker tried to jip me on my internet hustle at his crib. After getting hooked up he tried to just say fuck you i aint paying shit. DUDE I CALLED THE COPS AND TOLD THEM WHAT THE FUCK I WAS DOING. Did they do anything to me? Fuck no. They arrested the dumb fuck for assault and asked me to go to their crib and hook them up.
