    Does anyone know the poly limits for modding hl2? I think the weapons can have 10,000 polys max but im not sure...what about other things?

    Anyone know this?

    I dont think their is a limit. Ive seen alot of modellers on cdg.net model some really high polt shit like 20K+ and get it ingame.... The m4 skim im using right now is atleast 10K

    I just "hack" existing gun models to my liking Take this for instance... The original compile had the scope too far forward and it was too small so I recompiled it.

    LOL, How did you get banned?

    Anyway I was just asking because I run a mod for BF2, and we could use some help in the skinning and uv areas.

    Long story lol.... You know on cdg there is a help section with a ton of guides, if you have problems you can also ask for help there
