Thread: do i need to buy a new modem?

    hey everyone can somebody tell me if i need to buy a new modem?i have a westell 6100 and i was told that it has a built in firewall and its blocking my utorrent.can somebody tell me what modems work with torrent engines?i have verzon dsl.i also have a linksys befsr41 router if i need to replace that as well
    please let me know.

    I don't know...can you access the internets at all?

    If not you should totally get a new one.

    find your router on this page and follow the guide to set it up with utorrent.

    The local service tells costomers they need a new modem every time they go offline.
    Its a bit pricey for the n00bs to the net around these parts...
