hey,
i am thinking of getting a seedbox from www.softlayer.com and there is an option under the Uplink Port Speeds heading which had 3 options:
10 Mbps Public & Private Networks
100 Mbps Public & Private Networks
1000 Mbps Public & Private Networks
what does this mean? if i select 1000 Mbps does it mean i have a faster connection (download and upload)? cos if this is so, i dont mind paying the extra $20 for it..
Can someone tell me what this actually is? any help is greatly appreciated..

yes but @ 1000mbps you *COULD* upload 2TB in ~ 2 1\2 hours. Imo i would just get the 100 but either way seems rather $ vs some others, i mean $180 month for 2TB

sounds good to me.. i mean, i'd rather upload the whole 2TB sooner rather than later, i guess.. a 100mbps is slower, but at the end of the day, i'm still only gonna upload 2TB max, might as well get it done and over with in a day..
anyways, do you have any other recommendations of sites that offer 1000mbps but with higher bandwidth limits? i dont mind paying a bit extra
