I want to know which is the best media player in your opinion. I mainly play MP3s and sometimes videos. I currently use WMP 10 and RealPlayer. I have started using foobar2000 from today. What are your opinions?

VLC plays everything, but for HD in VLC u need a really good PC, I like windows player that comes in windows media center edition. Cyberlink PowerDVD is good also

Media Player Classic is the best media player to date. Highly recommended. {I}{K}{E} posted an update to the K-Lite Codec Pack here. This comes with Media Player Classic and enough codecs to play everything on this earth. Highly recommended.

In theory VLC is best because it can play anything and everything. I've always used WMP from 9 up and always liked it. Just install a good codec pack (like the K-lite mega codec pack) and you should be alright

i use WMP 11 but have the k-lite merga codec pack installed.

i prefer windows media player but then again you have to get codecs and stuff where i just use vlc for that
