What do think of this, been working on this for about the last 5 day.
Just to get It to this stage.

Modeled and animated In 3DS Max & rendered in Vray.

It took some doing to get It looking this way, so much footering about with tiny little bits.
And this is only the beginning.

Getting the toes to look this way, and go the way you want was a nightmare.
But thankfully that part is dun now, and a lesson well learned.

That looks clever to me, however I don't know much about this stuff. So I don't really know how much is software and how much is talent.

3DS Max costs about ₤3500 or Dollars, and that's just the base program.
Not including all the Plugins, can cost hundreds of Pounds or Dollars depending where you stay.
And there are thousands of different Plugins, good and bad.

So does it do most of the work for you or do you still have to have some artistic ability to use it.

Well trying to figure out the bones would make me go mental, so I think it's quite good.

Don't see the point of the Vray renderer though, if you haven't finished modelling, like.

It requires ability, like, I've got it and gave up after five minutes of playing with it.

Plus it took like a year to render one image.

edit: it's not like art skills as in painting like, more 3d model making.

It's just what's set to default, and that's Vray.

That's odd. I would have thought the default renderer would have been set as default.
