Thread: DC++ hijacked for denial-of-service attacks

    "A two-year-old hack for the peer-to-peer file sharing service DC++ has cropped up again, taking advantage of users who have not updated their client. According to Paul Sop, chief technology officer of the security firm Prolexic Technologies, more than 40 companies have found their web sites under denial-of-service (DoS) attack over the last three months."
