Download mIRC (www.mirc.com) and install it and start the program.
Log on to your ScT account. On the bottom of the screen there's a link, "IRC", click on it and you will find your personal code with a bunch of random letters and numbers.
In the status field in mIRC, write: /server irc.scenetorrents.org
Then, when you are connected to the server, write "/msg SceneTorrents invite YOUR-SCT-NICK YOUR-LONG-PERSONAL-CODE" (without the " ":s).
Then you will receive an answer with a link to the channel, which you should click on.
