    Urgent

    help pls guys just been moving my old desktop away for a new 1 so i had too switch off my computer , it was off for at least an hour and now it wont come on .... its a compaq and ive noticed at the power box where the light is constant green it is now filckering

    check connection to power supply. and try a different outlet. Also your PSU may start to be failing. Those lights are great indicators for showing current flow.

    What's the point of having a PC's and never turn it on?

    If you on it 24/7, it's mean you fully utilise your PC's and investment

    Turning a PC's on and off is actually very bad.

    mine is usually on 24/7 except when every now and then but did it with my old pc i had for about 3 yrs and never had any problems

    If it's doing some actual work 24/7.

    3.Turning a PC's on and off is actually very bad.
    No generally heat build up from never turning a computer off is worse. Only servers in server type enviroments are designed to run 24/7.

    I totally disagree. Computers are designed to be always on.
