Hi-Definition
I been without newsgroups for awhile now, and I am itching to get it back. I am thinking about usenetserver.com because it's cheap and 101 days retention. I use to have Newshosting and loved it, but it cost more and has less retention. Then there is giganews, I had it too. Great speed, expensive. But the extra 19 days for $20 more isnt worth it for me.
should I go with usenetserver?

NewsHosting 45 days retention means you can download maximum of 45 days-old headers, not articles. If you create NZB of articles from search engines, you can download very old articles (145 days old, I tried, or even older). Sometimes articles are damage, can't be fixed with par files I have)
UNS has very fast speed, but honestly, There are some problems: not all groups has 101 days retention, sometimes I can't download 80 days old articles, I can't download most releases from Nordic/Europe, for example: releases uploaded by poster giggi
Hope UNS fix it soon.
