[IMG] Disabled in PM's? [/IMG]

It seems img tags are disabled in private messages
is there are reason for this, did i miss something or is it moi?

Obviously you have forgotten animalgate, back when the k-lite board was actually a cover for an underground animal-porn-ring through private messages.
After the government uprooted it, they enforced strict [img] tag rules.

This must have happened recently because i recall img tagging in pm's recently.
(no animals where seriously offended)

However posting links to insanely vile sites via pm's is still enabled.
Seems like hypocritical Reality to me.

It was probably a bittorrent-related reason, and so henceforth the rest of the board has to suffer

Now if some mental sent another mental a picture in a PM, and the second mental got offended by it he or she should just have put the first mental on ignore.

If, for some reason, someone is afraid of recieving pics from strangers, but still wants to read PMs from them, maybe there should be an option to disable pics. There's no point, however, to ruin it for all of us.
