Thread: Need help with "Checking Torrent"

  1. #1
For some reason every time my torrents check in uTorrent or Azureus, my PC shuts off around 60%. I've tried it in both bittorrent clients, and I've also tried it with several different torrents from several different trackers, and I always get the same result: PC shuts off.

Anyone ever had trouble like this, or know how to fix it? I appreciate any help.

This happened to me before also...

When my download speed goes over 2Mbps, my PC used to suddenly shutdown... I though it had something to do with my slow 5400 RPM hard drive. So I bought a new and fast 7200 RPM one and my PC has never had a sudden shutdown again.

do you get the "blue screen of death?" It could mean your HDD has a bad sector or is about to fail
