Of course the most recent one is Italy vs France, Germany 2006

    Older ones:

Italy vs Netherlands, 1/2 Euro 2000, Toldo was outstanding that day

    France - Brazil, `98

    France - Russia `97

Utd vs. Arsenal with the infamous Giggs goal

    Italy 3 - Brazil 2

    1982 world cup

That Brazil team was something special but Italy still conquered them. Amazing game.

Most memorable would be the 2005 European Cup Final, when Liverpool came back from 3-0 down to win. I almost stopped watching at half-time. I'm so glad I didn't

Also, the 1999 European Cup Final, when Man Utd won the game by scoring 2 goals in added time.

I can also remember when Arsenal stole the (what was then) English First Division Title by beating Liverpool 2-0 in the last match of the season, in 1989.

In terms in international football, nothing really stands out as much. England beating Holland 4-1 in Euro 96 is one though. Also England beating Germany 5-1 in Munich in 2001 was another one I remember. My earliest memory of an international match was in Spain 1982, first match of the World Cup. England beat France 3-1, and Bryan Robson scored in 27 seconds.

We should have won that world cup actually, we never actually lost a game. Stupid 2nd round group system, and also stupid Kevin Keegan's inability to head the ball...

    /rant over.

    England thrashing Germany
    England thrashing Holland
    NUFC thrashing Man Utd
Liverpool coming from behind to win in 2005
Man Utd beating Bayern to do the treble
France beating Brazil in the 1986 World Cup (this was the first game that really held my attention as a kid)

I tried to call things by their proper names. "Actual Football" = European Football, not Soccer.
