Only an idiot would have wanted to stand there and box toe-to-toe with the former Heavyweight Champion of the World. The obvious move was to get in close and fight him on a level you could be relatively equal on, which Kimbo did.

Thanks for the link Skizo. Fuck, Kimbo's an animal! "It's been a long long time before a nigga eat. You feel me?"

I think he still has a long way to go, but with some good training, I think he could be a decent competitor. He's just going to be a bit unskilled in the ground game for a while.

Kimbo's a beast and the guillotine finish couldn't have made me happier. Mercer shouldn't have even stepped in cage, he was unprepared and had no strategy what so ever. I have high hopes for Kimbo and as Skizo said some good training could go a long way.

Kimbo is a beast, but he got rawked by that cop. That was a real fight. Ide like to see Kimbo in some sort of heavyweight Cage style fighting..without gloves.

Like he says in one of his most recent fights against "Chico" (check youtube) he says: "Dis is a grown man event, bare knuckles no gloves. Where da blood be at".
