VLC and Koepi's Xvid Codec
Excuse Me?
Didn't Think So!
Use one of the k-lite codec packs if you are looking for codecs to play files, but to encode I stick with DivX 6.7.
To play it save just download VLC latest version and Combined Community Codec Pack, also look for Koepi's Xvid Codec as well.

I remember people debateing about this i think it was on TD most people were saying use VLC player but advised against any kind of codec pack due to they are full of bugs and can't be removed properly when the time is needed also it is best to stick to individual codecs not a bunch you don't need this was the debate by far everyone said use single codecs and not packs i don't use any pack the only thing i use is cor something and ac3 and something else to work with mkv files.
I'm going to look at that nvidia pure video it looks good im not sure what it does yet
