How can I set up Raid 0? I tried everything the mobo manual procedures but always wind up with " not able to locate hard drives. " I have a Gigabyte GA-7VAXP mobo, Athlon XP 2800+, 1 Gig ram, (2) 80 GB Maxtor HD, Radeon 9700 video card and SB Audigy Platinum sound card. I have DVD Rom on IDE 1, DVD
    R/RW on IDE 2, (1) 80 GB HD on IDE 3 and (1) 80 GB HD on IDE 4.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

typically a RAID-capable motherboard has two IDE connectors that can be used for RAID setups and two that cannot. just taking an educated guess, i think that you may have the hard drives on the wrong connectors, and you should switch them with the cd drives.

Are the jumpers set to 'master' and 'slave' on those hard drives?
Is the RAID enabled in the BIOS?
