Damn, I thought I was going to see a clip from Team America: World Police. It would have been funnier imo and they would have saved some time/effort.

Team America: World Police was far from funny IMO. I barely even cracked a smile through the entire movie.

    Total shit, IMO.

well, you have to be drinking and understand the humor of Trey Parker. Definitely, his type of humor (Team America, Southpark) does not appeal to many people, but for some, his willingness to make fun of any topic (political, social, racial, etc) and go against the accepted norms are the reasons why these comedies are enjoyable. I didn't appreciated Team America until I saw it a second time. It's just that over the top stab at accepted values/policies that brings a smile to my face every time..
Edit-It might be just my age group, however, that likes this stuff. Or better yet my educated peers, since we did watch a lot of southpark while in college.

Don't get me wrong - I love South Park and still watch the new episodes when they're airing.

I just didn't find the Team America movie in the slightest bit amusing. I wasn't repulsed by the subject matter or anything. The entire time I was thinking how stupid it was with puppets.

For me, the idiocy of the puppets trumped any jokes they were attempting.
