Well talk to them, name names, say what they have done wrong. Don't just post some nebulous insult at everyone who posts.

I assumed you associated homosexuals and men who only have one testicle with a general lack of masculinity. Thanks to Sextent I now realise you were not trying to be insulting because you were upset with some of the racist comments and it is in fact me who is the homophobe.

The next time I'm new at a new board I'm going to barge in and start telling people what they are doing wrong.

Never mind in-jokes, parody, satire, and never mind that the regulars don't seem to react at all like people in general would when confronted with something I don't understand, never mind who the involved are. I'm gonna be all righteous and shit too, what fun.

And for an encore, I'm gonna do almost the same thing I think they are doing, and then make up some half-arsed reason for it when called on it, 'cos that seems especially clever.
