Well, i have not bought one yet, but ive been researching and im going with the Sonic Boom model SB1000, it has the features most others do, and it also has an outlet in the clock and you can plug in a lamp and it will flicker along with the alarm.

What puzzles me is why you made it in lounge...
Yeah it didn't seem very lounge-ish, is there another place to post it that i didnt notice?
