Don't get a WD. At least not a "WD My Book". The disk itself is good and all, but the drive has no off button. It starts automatically when your pc starts and goes in standby mode while it's not being accessed for a while. That might be great for some people, but for me it's a real pain. It delays software that only sporadicly accesses the drive.
Also with my configuration, my pc won't start when the drive is plugged in. I get stuck in my bios start up in that case. I hear many other people have the same problem with this drive.

5tb+.
500Gig inside the PC, 320 Gig in the laptop, 2 TB total external drives. I buy drives instead of dvds / cds![]()
500Gig on external drive+120Gigs on laptop.
about 600 gigs
I've got 0.00201PB of space.
It's enough for my needs. I'm deleting the movies when the drives start to get crammed, so it doesn't really matter.Spoiler: Show2.01TB![]()
