    I think it's an adjective but I don't know what that means either!

    Please let me know the meaning and demonstrate with a sentence.

    pedantic: to pick on ever last little bloody detail (not exactly from a dictionary, ut you get the idea )

    for example: some people can be so pedantic, they pick on every last little bloody detail

    The definition i have fugley is:

    a pedant:

    one who overrates or parades book-learning or technical knowledge or insists on strict adherance to formal rules,

    also

    one who is possessed by theory.

    Can we have examples of who "one" of these might be?&#33;

    a celebritry or politician perhaps? or even a forum member ?&#33;&#33;
