How many years would it take to dl a 1YB(Yattabyte) file.
At current speeds.......I know it's very subjective.

you mean yottabyte?

well, one yottabyte is 1,208,925,819,614,629,174,706,176 bytes

if you had t3 (44mbps) working at 90% efficiency, it'd take approx:
6806602674677.20 years to download

I really suck at math, so correct if I'm wrong.....
1,208,925,819,614,629,174,706 kb

My DSL is 100kb/s (that's what it reports when download from KaZaA)
1,208,925,819,614,629,174,706 kb / 100kb/s

= 1208925819614629174.7 seconds

= 20148763660243819.6 minutes

= 335812727670730.3 hours

= 13992196986280.4 days

= 922359722233.4 years

= 92235972223.3 decades

= 9223597222.3 centuries

This time I won't round each subtotal...
(Remember, I am not math wizard)

1,208,925,819,614,629,174,706,176 bytes
equals
1,208,925,819,614,629,174,706.176 KB

Divide
1,208,925,819,614,629,174,706.176
by my 100kb/s (DSL)
equals
12089258196146291747.06176

Divide
12089258196146291747.06176
by 60 (seconds)
equals
201487636602438195.78436266666667 (Minutes)

Divide by 60 (minutes)
equals
3358127276707303.2630727111111111 (hours)

Divide by 365.25 (years)
equals
9194051407822.8699878787436306943 (Years)

Divide by 10 (Decades)
equals
919405140782.2869987878743630694 (decades)

-OR-

Divide by 100 (centuries)
equals
9194051407.822869987878743630694 (centuries)
