Ok, I want to make an backup ( ) of GTA III pc but nothing works

    *I tried it with Clonecd.
*Tried to copy all files to HD and burned them to a CD.
*Tried to make an ISO with winiso but then I get an error message: 'Read error, maybe the CDROM has a bad sector'
Get this error on both CD's so I think this is caused by the cd protection.

Can somebody tell how I can make an backup () of this game?

Did you used Winzip? I know it sounds easy but with me it always work. Just select all your files on the CD put it in a Winzip file and then he will copy the zip file where ever you want. Then you pack it out. Burn it on a CD and you will have a copy.

in order to copy u most do few things:

    1)install clony xxl
    2)install clone cd

    then

open clony xxl and click on "scan disc" then after it finish cheaking click on "run clone cd" scan disk will cheak if there is any copy protection and costumize the coping, writing will be slow but it will work.

technically you do not have to use clonyxxl you can gog to this website and it will tell about all games protection and making a copy also depends on your burner. if u still havent got it to work i will help with a setp-by-step process.

go to this website GCW it has instructions on how to backup CD's and get passed the protections and includes the tools you need to do it... its a good site, when you enter on the right of the screen in the Main menu you will find "Backup protected CD's" click on it.

    Hope this helps...

the simplest method I know is bawa's method - except using Alcohol 120%, there's a cracked version somewhere....

You could make an ISO of the CD with WinISO but what went wrong when copying it win CloneCD. I've had great luck using CloneCD, but first identify the copy protection of the game at http://www.megagames.com.
