I've now had a chance to test 1.7.1 for myself, I've just sat for hours on end watching wireshark (thrilling) I can now say that I have no worries about lifting the temp ban on 1.7.1 on my site. I have also sent out a pm to all members stating this as well. I don't know where the source of this information came from that it was a reporting tool for the MPAA, but as far as I can see it's complete bullshit
I'll be the first to admit that I did ban it last night until I had the chance to discredit the allegations, but that was purely a precautionary measure.

Normal service has resumed and µtorrent is back to the primary download client on my site
