Thread: Download Accelerators

    Recently, I was downloading a file from the internet (not kazaa), and it went very slow. WOuld it be any faster if I 'd use a download accelerator?? (u know, like download accelerator plus ). And also, I dont know which one is the best, so please tell me.. thnx :-)

    i did not find it help full and got rid of it, some times the server you are connection to are just slow for one reason or another

    i only use download accelerator plus so that it keeps my downloads organised, plus you can resume downloads and switch sites if the server your connected to goes down. I wouldn't say it makes the downloads go a lot faster though.

    i like to try new download managers, right now i am using reget pro.

    I'm using dap and notice a little increase in speed enough to make me happy. I have cable. I get 300-400 speed only. Hope that helps.

    I use LeechGet, it's free... it scans for mirrors... I set it to not defualt cause i only use it if a download fails with the normal downloader in opera.

    i use tcp optimiser... its ok it only improved my speed a little bit though but as you no every little bit helps... plus its free!!!!
