Some because they are classics and so damn well made and some because I could never get bored of them.
Add Pulp Fiction, Die Hard, and maybe Snatch

I mean I always hear The Godfather and Jaws cuz they are classics but mainly I'm thinking of movies that I could sit and watch to this day and be into the movie.

    Aliens
    Friday
    Scarface

    Add

    Star Wars ESB
    Coming To America

    to my list

Now I'm up to 5. 5 more to go.

Also these are movies that, to me, don't seem to have any boring parts.

I'm thinking maybe Rocky for #6 and Trading Places for number #7 but I'm not sure.

Typically I noticed people don't pick comedies as their top movies. So far I have 2.
well the problem I have with comedies is I have to sit with someone and watch it to actully laugh laughing to myself I cant do its strange isnt it?

also how many times can you watch like 100 times and still laugh at the same jokes? there are some I tried to think of my fav movies as movies id watch at least once a year

Dark Comedies is more my go

when you look at the IMDB database and others some ones I always see in the top 100 are Donnie Darko, Fight Club and Shawshank redemption. although i think these movies are quite good there MASSIVELY overrated

Check kILLUMINATI'S sig. I always laugh at that movie. It is classic to me.

Your last paragraph sums it up. Massively overrated.

I liked those movies but they seem like bandwagon movies.

I can't sit through all of Donnie Darko again and again. I love the weirdness though, especially when he's looking at the mirror and sees the rabbit.

Fight Club. I never understood why that was THAT great.

Shawshank. Great movie that I can watch again. For some reason, not in my top 10.

Pulp Fiction just has great dialogue and action. Of course the most classic part is Samuel L Jackson's.

Aliens. Pulse pounding take on the Aliens franchise. I remmember seeing it in the movie theater with one of my boys. We left the movie like WTF!

My movies just have no boring parts. They are masterpieces in that respect. Some movies can have action but it is brainless and boring.

Die Hard was absolutely great. I would pick T4 but it had boring parts. I couldn't sit through again. Die Hard? I could watch it right now (actually even part 2).

    edit: T2, T4 was shit.
