I'd say "move on". I always used Torrentbytes and I loved it but ever since they got new members, the site is slow, plus all the attacks. They might be able to fix this, but for now, use Torrentleech or someting else. I think it's a better tracker anyway.

I actually joined the forum to see if anyone had news on TB.. I liked the torrents and had a massive ratio.. but that's easy to get back since I have a ton of bandwidth upstream. What are the best trackers? TL seems to have closed doors to new users.. is there any way to get an invite? I'm excellent at seeding

Join their Irc channel and ask them to confirm it manually.
Not only that - they do the database inserts before the php hits this error. So if you try to sign up later on, the registration screen tells you that your email/user id already exists.
