Thread: Playing Bin/cue Vcds On A Hardware Dvd Player?

  1. #1
Ive downloaded the three Bin/Cue/nFo's for the Matrix Reloaded TS Centropy. I know how to burn them and all that. But would they play on a regular hardware DVD player that plays VCD/SVCD? (Such as: My Apex 1100W)

Or do I have to extract the MPEG1 or 2 files from the Bins, and then burn a regular (s)VCD?

You can directly burn from the .cue-file :No extraction is nescesary !
Personaly I would wait for a good DivX-rip.

Yes, but when I do burn the Cue/Bin files onto a CDR, will that CDR play the movie on my hardware DVD player on my TV?

In other words, can DVD players, such as my Apex, that play VCD/SVCD, play VCD/SVCD's that are burned inside Cues/Bins?

Some dvd players will play the bin files, you'll just have to burn one and see if it works.

The chances are if your dvd player plays vcd and svcd that it is going to work, and whats 10p for a blank disc to test it and see if it works. I don't think its going to break the budget too much.

yes. bin/cue's are just a collection of files that have been prepared for cd-burning. the files are not changed by the preparation.
