Be sure to disconnect the power first.

You could damage it if you force it or something but there are 2 lever clips to release it at each end of the module. Push them gently outwards. The module will pop out.
or anything that might be on it?
That's funny. RAM only contains data when the power of your PC is on. When you turn it off the RAM is empty.

That's funny. RAM only contains data when the power of your PC is on. When you turn it off the RAM is empty.
