    Ok everybody knows how to convert AVI to MPG,
    but what is the best program for MPG to AVI?

    Maybe use an encoder like divxpro, can't say for sure, you may have to put it on disc in VCD format and then rip it, how confusing.

    Sorry the formatting your attempting is backwards, there is no simple way that I know of other than mentioned above.

    Maybe you can play it on your computer while filming it cam style.
