    Hello, I was wondering how to make a movie on my HDD from a dvd? So I can watch it using windows media player when ever I want to? In other words How do I rip a DVD to one file to be watched or distibuted through Kazaa? Please someone help me out?

    Doom9.org has plenty of articles on DVD ripping...and links to the software that you will need.

    My favorite package is GordianKnot. It has all the software that I need, although I don't follow the instructions that come with it...just look on Doom9 and you will find a proper tutorial...
