I like the idea of it (what it can do n'all) so maybe a better version of it will come out.
I just don't like carrying a phone, a video ipod, a PDA and a laptop around everywhere. It'd be nice to just have it all on one (small) device.
It'd be nice if it could unlock my car too.

Agreed the idea is great. However, it's not new.
There 3 reasons why people jump on it.
1. The navigation for pictures and web.
2. It's from Apple.
3. It has a colorful screen.
It sucks as an iPod, phone, and the web is slow.
To top it off, it costs $600 and the price will never go down.
Apple will just release a newer version for the same price or more.
It was quite sickening to see people camped out for the thing especially when you could just order one.
