I didn't see it at first but while reading the disclaimer I noticed out of the corner of my eye she was turning to the left.

From what I see, the image is not spinning. It's in 2D.
I can perceive it as her never going past a revolution if I want to.
She "spins" one way then "spins" the other way, over and over.
This works with many cuz they are perceiving a 2D image as being in 3D.
If you look at it as a 2D image you'll see what I'm talking about.
If you have trouble, stare straight at it, blink 4 times (averting your eyes to your brain) while imagining her go the other way.
She will constantly change direction.
Again though, if you think of it as a 2D image, you can do it without blinking.
You will see the image as her swinging her foot like a pendulum versus going around.

It would take a woman to do something so nonsensical
Why the hell would you avert your eyes, you mentals?
Well I've been staring at this all morning * and she hasn't changed direction once
EDIT: So yeah, I know how it's supposed to work, silhouettes are amibiguous in that they can often be back or front views, but I can't seem to make my brain accept that it could be going the other way round.
