I don't presume to know rules of business with Keyweb but being wary of German companies in this regard can only be a good thing. After all it is a German-based organization that promotes a strong hand against piracy (This image is a small example of that ) unlike anything I've experienced before.

I wouldn't worry about it , the more people talk about a certain place the more "heat" it becomes to it. But there is much better hosts out there you can pick from. If you have Vectoral server is the only thing you need. You got to be careful though what sites you are in.

so ur saying keyweb is not a wise choice at the moment. grr its hard to decide on right place. i just need min 80gb hdd, a computer capable of handling 5-10 torrents at the same time and min 4tb bw with 10/10mbit or above speed for 50$ max i think... any recommendations ¿

I hear keyweb and vectoral use same data center? Anyhow i would recommend keyweb as on my VPS i get 8MB! If you got either ROOTDS or dedicated($39 month!) you would be rockin

Its Hosting-ie & Keyweb that use the same datacenter, Vectoral is a different datacenter, although vectoral also owns Netdirekt

How to order? If its true you can get 10MB upload anyone wanna share the 20gb model?

1. http://keyweb.de/order/index.asp
2. click button "weiter für Neukunden" which means continue for new customers
3. click button "weiter zu VRS-Server" or "weiter zu RootDS", whichever product you want
4. choose your product
5. choose the operating system/linux distribution
6. managed-server is optional, the textbox below reads "special wishes". you can skip this step with clicking the "weiter" button
7. choose a domain name, or not. "- kein besonderer Name benötigt. Er bekommt den Namen km?????.keymachine.de." means that your server doesn't have a domain name but is working from a subdomain *.keymachine.de
8. this is an overview of your product order. continue with "weiter"
9. insert your personal data (name/firma=your name, ansprechpartner=contact person and only needed for a company, straße/nummer=street/number, land=country "Vereinigte Staaten von Amerika" is a translation for USA, Postleitzahl=zipcode, Ort=city, telefon/telefax/email=should be clear) but beware that entries with a * are mandatory.
10. choose your payment method. "Lastschrift/Bankeinzug"=debit entry, "Kreditkarte"=credit card, "Überweisung"=debit transfer, "Paypal"=paypal of course
11. enter your payment data for whichever method you used.
12 ...?

I didn't continue this further because I have no interest in renting a server at Keyweb. If you need translations for special phrases or texts from German to English or the other way around, then PM me.
